Ewan, Timmy, Chris, Luca, Jangl and Bebo

UPDATE: And YES, it was Pat Phelan who recommended early on that we find a way into Bebo, AND who introduced us to Ewan.

I was cruising the Bebo platform launch yesterday at the met in San Francisco. I finally met the great Ewan MacLeod from SMS Text News. Great guy, full of good energy. Here he is pictured with Timmy- arguably the best PR guy in the space. [Ewan - I know who we can send flowers to... the wife of Chris Breshears, the guy who went without sleep for days to get our Bebo app up].

It was a chalk full day of activity, meetings with money people and mussels. Finally, I met Luca, aka the VoIP guy from Italy. Another great meeting. I enjoyed digging into Hictu and chatting about the space. It's not too often I get to do this.
