Not sure about you, but I find that since so many people are "watching", that I might behave differently in front of all several 100 friends than I would, say among just my 25 closest friends. Here's a poll daddy poll if you feel like playing:
Technorati Tags: virtual friends vs real friends
Hey Michael! I use each of those for slightly different purposes. Facebook are "real" friends, Linked In are business associates and on MySpace I still live in LA, and 50# lighter and 10 years younger.... ;-)

Thanks Tom. Of your fb contacts, what % are considered trusted friends, you'd have over for dinner, or ask a favor of?

Hi Michael, my vote was 75%. However, I would have 100% over for dinner. My main criteria for accepting friend requests on Facebook are:
1. I have actually met you physically
2. I have interacted with you in some way more than once
